Dr. Mona Boudreaux is the founder and owner of A Time To Heal.  She is a graduate of Louisiana State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and is certified in veterinary acupuncture (IVAS), veterinary chiropractic (AVCA), and has a Masters in Medical QiGong (IIMQ). She has studied under Dr. Keshuang Zhao, one of China's top herbalists, as well as in China and in Albuquerque under Dr. Gary Allen, O.M.D. She is a past President of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture (AAVA) and is active in the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) and American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association (AHVMA).

Dr. Boudreaux has been practicing complementary and alternative medicine, and organizing professional seminars on topics of interest to practitioners of complementary, alternative, and integrative veterinary medicine since 1994. 

In addition to practicing veterinary medicine and managing A Time to Heal, Dr. Boudreaux serves as Practice Manager for Knollwood Hospital for Pets in Schaumburg, Illinois.  She also organizes and teaches her own TCM herbal course and lectures extensively nationwide. Her dynamic, informative lectures on introductory and advanced Veterinary Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese food therapy, integrative practice management, and veterinary acupuncture have been heard nationwide.
